Removing and installing/replacing control unit for neck warmer (M4 Convertible)

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Remove REAR SEAT .

Removal: 

Unlock plug connections (1) and disconnect.

Loosen latch mechanisms and feed out the control unit (2) in direction of arrow from the holder.

Installation: 

Check whether the damping disc (1) is present at the control unit (2).

If need be, glue on the damping disc (1) as shown in the graphic on the bottom of the control unit (2).

Dimension A = 15 mm +/- 2 mm

Dimension B = 5 mm + 2 mm

Feed in the control unit (1) in direction of arrow into the holder.

Connect connector (2).

Installation note: 

Make sure the control unit engages correctly in the holder.
