65 82 300 Removing and installing (replacing) Touchbox controller control unit (2' Series coupe and convertible, 2017-2021)
IMPORTANT:
Read and comply with NOTES ON PROTECTION AGAINST ELECTROSTATIC DAMAGE (ESD PROTECTION)

Necessary preliminary tasks:
- Refer to REMOVING COMPLETE CENTER CONSOLE .
Removal:
Unlock and disconnect the connector (1).
Release latch mechanisms at marked points.
Remove Touchbox (2).
Installation:
Position and engage Touchbox (2) correctly.
Connect the plug (1).
NOTE:
Latch mechanisms must not be damaged or missing.
Required reworking:
- Refer to INSTALLING CENTER CONSOLE, COMPLETE .
Replacement:
Carry out VEHICLE PROGRAMMING AND ENCODING .
