Installing the steering column
- Feed the steering column (1)
at installation in the steering shaft seal (2)
.
- Carefully feed in steering column (1) in arrow direction.
- Position the steering column (1) at the bolts (2) .
- Position the nuts (1) on the steering column (2) .
NOTE:
Do not fully tighten the nuts yet.
- Position the nuts (1) on the steering column (2) .
NOTE:
Tightening the nuts follows in the next work step in the sequence.
- It is mandatory to tighten the nuts in sequence (1) to (4) .
TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION

- Secure cable (1) on the steering column (2) .
