Installing the VTG control unit

• Replace the O-rings (1)

• Align the drive shaft (1) from the control unit to the drive flange (2) on the transmission
• When installing, slightly turn the transfer case control unit until the drive shaft noticeably snaps in the drive flange

• Carefully install the VTG control unit (2)
• Attach and tighten the screws (1)

• Connect the connector (1) with the VTG control unit

• Refer to RECONNECTING ALL BATTERY GROUND LEADS .
• Refer to CHECKING/TOPPING UP THE TRANSFER CASE OIL (ACTIVE TORQUE CONTROL 13-1) .
• Refer to INSTALLING TRANSMISSION CROSS MEMBER .
