Installing the telematics control module

• Connect the connector (1)  with the telematics control module (2)

• Guide in the telematics control module (1)  and position it correctly

  NOTE: To provide a better overview: Illustration of surrounding parts removed
• Attach the telematics control module (1)  to the roof antenna (4) 
• Press the telematics control module (1)  forward slightly so that the guides (2)  align with the guides (3) 

  While doing so, press in the locking pin (5)  so that it is flat and position the telematics control module (1)

• Pull the telematics control module (1)  in the arrow direction using the special tool 0 494 365 (51 3 252) until the interlock (2) locks correctly 
• Ensure the correct fit of the telematics control module (1)

• Position the clips (1)  correctly and clip them in

• Tighten down screw (1) 
  TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
  
  

  Interference suppression filter to body
  Screw	tightening torque	3 Nm

• Tighten down screw (2) 
  TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS
  
  

  Antenna amplifier to body
  Screw	tightening torque	2.50 Nm

• Connect connector (3) 
• Fasten the cable clip (4)

• Refer to TRIM OF THE 3RD INSTALLING THE BRAKE LIGHT .
• Refer to INSTALLING THE HEAD RESTRAINT AT THE REAR CENTER .
• Refer to RECONNECTING ALL BATTERY GROUND LEADS .
