Remove the BDC control unit

Preliminary work 

• Refer to DEACTIVATING THE 48 V ELECTRICAL SYSTEM .
• Refer to DISCONNECTING ALL BATTERY GROUND LEADS .
• Refer to REMOVING RIGHT FOOTWELL TRIM .
• Refer to REMOVING THE DOOR SILL COVER STRIP ON THE RIGHT .
• Refer to REMOVING THE SIDE TRIM PANEL IN THE FOOTWELL AT THE RIGHT-HAND A-PILLAR .

• Unlock detents (1)  and feed out the power distribution box (2)  downward

• Fold the carpet (1)  to the side
• Loosen the detents (2) 
• Guide cover (3)  out in arrow direction

• Unlock all plug connections and disconnect
• Release detent (1) 
• Feed the BDC control unit (2)  out of the bracket in direction of arrow (3)
