Control Assembly

Consists of a SELECTOR thumbwheel and a sliding TEMPERATURE lever. Selector wheel operates selector switches (Vacuum disc switch and Electrical switch) mounted on the control assembly. Temperature lever is connected by a cable to the temperature range lever on the Thermostatic Vacuum Regulator (TVR) as explained in TVR operation. Selector switches control system operation mode for heating or cooling. Defroster door is now operated by a vacuum diaphragm actuator connected to the selector vacuum switch. For temperature cable adjustment, see CONTROL CABLE in ADJUSTMENTS.
