Recent inquiries have been received concerning the Body Computer Module (BCM) location in the 1987 Riviera. The Chassis Service Manual incorrectly states the BCM as being located in the console. Correct location of the BCM is behind the right hand instrument panel. To access the BCM for removal and installation, the instrument panel glove box compartment must first be removed.

Please note this change in the Buick Chassis Service Manual, Volume 2, Section 8A Riviera, Pages 50-2 and 201-9, Figure A.
