Description & Operation

Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) system allows driver to operate several features from outside vehicle, using a hand held radio transmitter. Keyless entry module issues signals to control door locks, trunk release, theft deterrent system and illuminated entry.

When lock button is pressed on transmitter and keyless entry module receives a signal with a valid vehicle access code, lock function sequence is performed. Keyless entry module will lock all doors and simulate theft deterrent arming sequence.
