Water Deflector: Removal

  1. Remove door trim panel. See DOOR TRIM PANEL  .
  2. Remove radio speaker. See RADIO SPEAKER  .
  3. Remove armrest plate hanger (11) by drilling out rivets by using a drill and 1/4" bit. See Figure .
  4. Using a flat-blade tool, such as a putty knife, to break string sealer bond, remove water deflector (38). Remove tape from top of water deflector (38). Pull bottom edge of water deflector (38) from retaining slots. See Figure .
