Receiver Programming

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 1994 Cadillac Fleetwood. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Move trim located in left side of trunk to gain access to programming connector (Black/White wire). Use a jumper wire and ground programming connector. Door locks and rear trunk lock will cycle. This indicates receiver is in program mode.
  2. Press any button once on transmitter. Door locks and trunk lock will cycle once to ensure transmitter code is programmed. Receiver is now programmed to transmitter. Previously programmed codes are erased.
  3. If programming a receiver to match a second transmitter, do not disconnect program connector jumper wire. Press any button once on second transmitter. Door locks and trunk lock will cycle once to ensure transmitter code is programmed.
  4. Disconnect programming connector. System will not operate unless ground connection jumper wire is removed. Ensure transmitter is operating properly. Reposition trunk trim assembly.
