Remote Control Door Lock Receiver/Theft Deterrent Module

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 1994 Cadillac Fleetwood. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Transmitter Will Not Program

1) Front probe Remote Control Door Lock Receiver/Programming Connector with voltmeter connected between terminal "B" (Black/White wire) and ground. If battery voltage is present, program a known good transmitter. If system is still inoperative, replace Remote Control Door Lock Receiver/Theft Deterrent Module (RCDLR/TDM).

2) If no voltage is present, check for open or short to ground in Black/White wire, or for poor connection at RCDLR/TDM connector terminal C11 (Black/White wire). If wire and connection are okay, replace RCDLR/TDM.
