Inspection (Shift Tube)

Inspect shift tube for sheared injection plastic. See Figure & Figure . If injection plastic is sheared, replace shift tube. Check shift lever operation. If lever can be moved to PARK position without raising the lever, upper shift tube plastic bearing is broken; replace shift tube.
