Direct Programming

1. Select SERVICE PROGRAMMING SYSTEM from Tech line Navigator or by selecting F2 on the Information Menu.
2. Select SPS/EEPROM on the Diagnostic Menu.
3. Select TERMINAL TO VEHICLE for the Programming Method.
4. Select NEW VEHICLE and follow screen instructions.
5. Connect Data Link Connector (DLC) cable to the vehicle.
6. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
7. Select OK. The Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) will be read. If VIN cannot be read, VIN will need to be entered.
8. Select SPECIAL.
9. Select PROGRAM BY VCI.
10. Enter 1008 for VCI number and select DONE.
11. Verify that the DLC cable is connected to vehicle and verify ignition switch is in the RUN position.
12. Summary of selected calibrations is displayed with BCM calibrations. Make sure to select correct calibration based on vehicle features.
13. Select PROGRAM.
14. Select YES to confirm programming.
