Dash Integration Module

  1. Connect scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC). Turn ignition on. Under DIM MAIN MENU on scan tool, select SPECIAL FUNCTIONS. Select NEW VIN.
  2. Following instructions on scan tool, edit Vehicle Identification Number (VIN). Press SAVE to save VIN information. Press DONE to go back to special functions menu.
  3. Select SDM SERIAL NUMBER IN DIM. Scan tool will display DO YOU WANT TO SET UP A DASH INTEGRATION MODULE?
  4. Press YES. Scan tool will display INITIALIZING NEW MODULE. When completed, scan tool will display MODULE INITIALIZED.
  5. Select EXIT: GO TO SPECIAL FUNCTIONS MENU. Select SET OPTIONS. Select POINT OF SALE. Follow scan tool instructions to select point of sale.
  6. Select MISCELLANEOUS OPTIONS #1. Follow scan tool instructions to select Regular Production Option (RPO) configuration.
  7. MISCELLANEOUS OPTIONS #2 should be turned on. Following instructions on scan tool, select appropriate remaining RPO configuration options. Press EXIT to go back to special functions menu.
  8. Using Driver Information Center (DIC), reset vehicle owner's desired personalization settings. See PROGRAMMING in appropriate ANALOG INSTRUMENT PANELS article. Turn ignition off and on.
