Installation Procedure

  1. Install the lateral accelerometer sensor (1).
  2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the 2 lateral accelerometer sensor screws (3).

    Tighten:  Tighten the 2 lateral accelerometer sensor screws to 2.4 N.m (21 lb in).

  4. Connect the lateral accelerometer sensor electrical connector (2).
  5. Install the rear seat cushion. Refer to Seat Cushion Replacement - Rear in Seats.
  6. Perform the ABS Diagnostic System Check. Refer to Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle in Vehicle DTC Information.
