Steering Column Filler: Installation

  1. Connect the electrical connector to the DIC, if equipped.
  2. Align the steering column opening filler panel locating pins and the retaining clips to the slots in the instrument panel. See Fig 1 .
  3. Press the steering column opening filler panel to lock in the retainers.
  4. Install the bolts to the bottom of the steering column opening filler panel and tighten the bolts to 18 INCH lbs. (2 N.m).
  5. Install the left instrument panel insulator. See INSULATOR (LEFT SIDE)  .
