Powertrain Control Module: Installation
- Connect the PCM electrical connectors to the PCM. Tighten connectors to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Install the PCM into the air cleaner housing assembly.
- Install the air cleaner top cover. Connect the negative battery cable. The replacement PCM will NOT allow Secondary Air Injection (AIR) pump operation until a total of 10 miles have been accumulated. The new PCM must be programmed. See POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE in PROGRAMMING.
