Installation Procedure

NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.

Install the engine oil level sensor to the oil pan.
Tighten

Tighten the sensor to 20 N-m (15 lb ft).

Connect the oil level sensor electrical connector.
Install the engine oil drain plug.
Tighten

Tighten the plug to 30 N-m (22 lb ft).

Lower the vehicle.
Fill the crankcase with engine oil. Refer to ENGINE OIL AND OIL FILTER REPLACEMENT .
