Body Control Module: Service and Repair

BODY CONTROL MODULE REPLACEMENT

REMOVAL PROCEDURE
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the right side instrument panel (I/P) insulator.




3. Push the release tab on the bottom of the bracket to release the body control module (BCM).
4. Slide the BCM from the bracket.




5. Disconnect the electrical connectors.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Connect the electrical connectors to the BCM.




2. Align the tabs on the BCM with the slots in the mounting bracket. Push the BCM up until the module clicks into place.
3. Install the right side I/P insulator.
4. Connect the negative battery cable.
5. Setup the BCM customized options. Programming and Relearning
