Steering Wheel Inflatable Restraint Module Coil Replacement

Preliminary Procedure

  1. Remove the steering wheel. Refer to Steering Wheel Replacement
  2. Remove the steering column trim covers. Refer to Steering Column Trim Cover Replacement .
1 Inflatable Restraint Steering Wheel Module Coil Bolt (Qty: 4)
CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Tighten:  1.5 N.m (13 lb in)

2 Inflatable Restraint Steering Wheel Module Coil

Procedure

  1. Disconnect any electrical connectors as needed.
  2. If re-centering of the inflatable restraint steering wheel module coil is needed then refer to Inflatable Restraint Steering Wheel Module Coil Centering .
