Removal Procedure

Disconnect battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .

Remove the battery fuse block cover (2) and loosen the battery positive post clamp (1).
Remove the battery fuse block (3) and set aside.

Remove the battery hold down fastener (1) and remove the battery retainer strap (2).

Remove the battery (2).
