Preliminary Procedure 
Remove the instrument panel lower center trim plate applique. Refer to Instrument Panel Lower Center Trim Plate Applique Replacement (Encore) .
1 Instrument Panel Multifunction Switch
Procedure 
Depress the tabs on the switch to remove from the trim plate.
