Installation Procedure

  1. GM4753101

    Generator Control Module (1) - Install

  2. Engine Control Module Bracket (2) - Install
  3. GM4753076
    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution

    Generator Control Module Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [2x] 22 N.m (16 lb ft)

  4. Generator Control Module Nut (2) - Install and tighten 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
  5. GM4751702

    Battery Positive Junction Block Cable (1) - Install

  6. Battery Positive Junction Block Cable Nut (2) @ Generator Control Module (3) - Install and tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)
  7. GM4753041

    High Voltage Electrical Connector (1) - Connect [2x]

  8. Electrical Connector (2) - Connect
  9. Engine Harness Ground Terminal (4) - Install
  10. Engine Harness Ground Fastener (3) - Install and tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)
  11. GM4752930

    Generator Control Module Coolant Pump Hose (2) @ Generator Control Module (1) - Install - Generator Control Module Coolant Pump Hose Replacement (LHN)

  12. GM4752931

    Generator Control Module Coolant Hose (2) @ Generator Control Module (1) - Install - Generator Control Module Coolant Hose Replacement (LHN Generator Control Module Coolant Hose to Generator Control Module)

  13. GM4747900

    Drive Motor Power Inverter Module Shield (2) - Install - Drive Motor Power Inverter Module Shield Replacement 

  14. GM4752569

    Drive Motor Power Inverter Module Cover (3) - Install - Drive Motor Power Inverter Module Cover Replacement 

  15. Enable the high voltage system. High Voltage Enabling
  16. Reprogram the generator control module. Control Module References
