Distributor Thermal Control Switch (DTCS)

This switch has a check valve that holds the highest manifold vacuum reached to the distributor vacuum advance until switching occurs at the specified coolant temperature. After the valve switches, unchecked vacuum is directed to the distributor, to give better engine operation.
