Throttle Position Sensor: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect TPS electrical connector.

2. Remove two TPS attaching screws, lockwashers and retainers.

3. Remove TPS.

4. With throttle valve(s) in normal closed idle position, install TPS. Ensure TPS pickup lever is located above tang on throttle actuator lever.

5. Install retainers, lockwashers and screws. Adjust TPS. Refer to THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR under ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURES.
