Cylinder Head Bolts

(Figure 1) Cylinder Head Bolt Torque Sequence:

In the sequence shown in figure 1:

^ Torque bolts to 50 Nm (38 ft lbs)
^ Torque bolts to 90 Nm (68 ft lbs)
^ Tighten bolts 1, 3 and 4 to 120 Nm (90 ft lbs)

CAUTION: It is extremely important that the above procedure, sequence and torque values are maintained to ensure proper head gasket performance.
