Idle Speed Control (ISC) Assembly

Throttle Body Assembly - Exploded View:

REMOVAL:

1. Disconnect the electrical connector.
2. Remove the ISC attaching nuts and lock washers.
3. Remove the ISC assembly from the mounting bracket.

CAUTION: The ISC motor is calibrated at the factory and NO ATTEMPT should be made to disassemble the unit. DO NOT immerse the ISC in any type of cleaner and always remove before throttle body cleaning and servicing of components. Immersion in cleaner will damage the ISC unit.

INSTALLATION:

1. Position the ISC to the mounting bracket.
2. Install the lock washers and attaching nuts.
3. Connect the electrical connector, and tighten to 3.7 N-m (33 lb. in.).
4. Adjust the ISC motor as described in ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURES/MINIMUM AIR, TPS AND ISC MOTOR ADJUSTMENTS.
