Code P064, Vehicle Acceleration Too High: Action

PCM disengages cruise control. If Code P064 is present and no other cruise control faults exists, clear code and road test vehicle. If Code P075 is also present, check for sources of Electromagnetic Interference (EMI), such as VSS wire running along spark plug wires or high power transmitters, like mobile radios, operating in vicinity.
