DTC 47, CANADIAN Select Input Error: Notes

When CCM connector C1 terminal A8 is grounded and CCM wakes-up, CCM is then configured as a Canadian vehicle, because this terminal is always low. CCM connector C1 terminal A8 on non-Canadian vehicles will not be grounded. If terminal is grounded, remove wire.

DTC 47 will set if CCM connector C1 terminal A8 loses its ground or receives battery voltage to it after CCM wake-up, that lasts longer than 2 seconds.

When DTC 47 is set, Daytime Running Lights (DRL) may not properly operate. DTC 47 will clear after fault is repaired and ignition switch is turned off, then back to RUN position.
