Left Mirror Does Not Move Manually

NOTE: After repair or component replacement is completed, perform MEMORY SYSTEM CHECK  under TESTING - SYSTEM CHECKS to verify system is operating properly.
  1. Perform MEMORY SYSTEM CHECK  under TESTING - SYSTEM CHECKS. Go to next step.
  2. Using mirror select switch, select left mirror. Using test light, backprobe between outside mirror switch connector terminals "E" (Orange wire) and "H" (Tan/White wire). Move mirror switch down. Move mirror switch left. Backprobe between outside mirror switch connector terminals "D" (Black wire) and "H" (Tan/White wire). Move mirror switch up. Move mirror switch right. If test light illuminates at all positions, go to next step. If test light does not illuminate at all positions, go to step 6).
  3. If left mirror operates in all directions during memory recall function, go to next step. If left mirror does not operate in all directions during memory recall function, go to step 5).
  4. Repair open in circuit No. 299 (Tan/White wire) between outside mirror switch and Memory Mirror Module (MMM) connector C1. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  .
  5. Replace Memory Mirror Module (MMM).
  6. Replace outside mirror switch. See MIRRORS - POWER article.
