Removal & Installation

  1. Remove inside handle bezel and screw. Lift flap in pull handle opening to access and remove 2 screws. Remove 2 screws from bottom of door trim panel. Using J38778, release 8 retainers from perimeter of door trim panel.
  2. Lift upward and outward on door trim panel to disengage from top of door. Disconnect door latch cable from inside door handle by prying tab on cable outboard while pulling back on cable. See Fig 1 . Unhook collar portion of the clip from cable attachment. Push upward on bottom of cable attachment to disengage cable from handle clip.
  3. Disconnect electrical connectors and remove door trim panel. Disconnect electrical connectors from door module. Remove door module by releasing tabs on top and bottom. See Fig 2 . To install, reverse removal procedure.
