Condition
Some customers may comment that their vehicle's engine is unable to be properly serviced or tested using non-TECH2(R) (Generic) service or test equipment. When requested using non-TECH2(R) (Generic) service or test equipment, these vehicles are unable to properly communicate oxygen sensor response diagnostic test results and limits.
Correction
Reprogram to the latest calibration available through TIS.
The new calibration should be from TIS satellite data update version 1.0 for 2004 or later, available starting January 2004. As always, make sure your TECH2(R) is updated with the latest software version.
