Idle Learn Procedure

Anytime Engine Control Module (ECM) or throttle body is replaced, ECM must learn idle position of throttle body. Engine idle may be unstable when idle position has not been learned.

Perform the following procedure to allow ECM to learn idle position:

1. Using scan tool, verity DTCs are not set.
2. Turn ignition off for 30 seconds.
3. Turn ignition on, engine off for 30 seconds.
4. Turn ignition off.
