Content Theft Deterrent System & Immobilizer: Notes

NOTE: All Theft Deterrent Module (TDM) and Engine Control Module (ECM) functions must be programmed using GM Tech 2 scan tool.

The TDM must be programmed after installation with (in order) security code, engine type, key cylinder number and VIN number. ECM must be programmed to learn new frequency code. To obtain security code and key cylinder number, contact GM dealer.
