Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the accelerator control cable (2) from the accelerator controls bracket (3).

  3. Disconnect the accelerator control cable (3) from the throttle body lever (2).

  5. Disconnect the accelerator control cable (2) at the retainer (1) on the bulkhead.

  7. Remove the left closeout insulator panel. Refer to Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Left in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
  8. Squeeze the accelerator control cable (1) cover tangs and push the accelerator control cable through the bulkhead.
  9. Disconnect the accelerator control cable (1) at the accelerator controls pedal (3).
  10. Remove the accelerator control cable.
