Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2004 Cadillac DeVille. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Remove the right side windshield garnish molding. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Windshield Pillar (Standard) or Garnish Molding Replacement - Windshield Pillar (WC2, WC8) in Interior Trim.
  2. Remove the center pillar trim panel. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Center Pillar (Standard) or Garnish Molding Replacement - Center Pillar (WC2, WC8) in Interior Trim.
  3. Remove the right rear sail panel. Refer to Sail Panel Replacement (Standard) or Sail Panel Replacement (WC2, WC8) in Interior Trim.
  4. Lower the headliner in order to gain access to the antenna cable along the right side of the vehicle. Refer to Headliner Replacement (w/CF5) or Headliner Replacement (w/o CF5) or Headliner Replacement (WC2, WC8) in Interior Trim.
  5. Disconnect the antenna cable connection (1) in the front of the vehicle.

  7. Disconnect the antenna cable (3) from the antenna module (1) located on the rear roof beam.

  9. Remove the cable clips (3) from the roof beams.
  10. Remove the antenna cable from the vehicle.
  11. If the antenna cable is to be replaced, remove the antenna cable clips (3) from the antenna cable.

    The new antenna cable does not have clips (3)
