Installation Procedure

Assemble the fuel system as follows:

  1. Install the fuel injectors. Refer to Fuel Injector Replacement .
  2. Install the fuel tank fuel pump module. Refer to Fuel Tank Fuel Pump Module Replacement - Right Side .
  3. Install the fuel lever sender assembly. Refer to Fuel Level Sensor Replacement - Left Side 
  4. Refer to Metal Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service in order to connect the following quick connect fittings to the fuel rail:
    • The feed hose/pipe
    • The return hose/pipe
