Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: View Of Air Cleaner Outlet Duct

  1. Install air cleaner outlet duct to the vehicle and the MAF/IAT sensor.
    2. CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  2. Tighten the air cleaner outlet duct clamp at the MAF/IAT sensor.

    Tighten:  Tighten the clamp to 4 N.m (35 lb in).

  3. Install the air cleaner outlet duct to the throttle body.
  4. Tighten the air cleaner outlet duct clamp at the throttle body.

    Tighten:  Tighten the clamp to 4 N.m (35 lb in).

  5. Connect the PCV fresh air tube quick connect fitting to the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .

  6. Connect the engine harness electrical connector to the MAF/IAT sensor.
