Navigation Control Module

The Navigation Control Module performs many functions, the main purpose is GPS navigation and DMB Broadcast however it does have some other functions.For a complete understanding of all the features, refer to the User manual.

The Navigation Control Module can be controlled via touch screen or hard keys. Refer to the User manual for additional information.

The Navigation Control Module communicates with the Human Machine Interface, Info Display/ Faceplate controls, and Radio through various Serial Data circuits.

The Navigation Control Module is capable of displaying a map on the Info Display of the route selected to a particular destination. Voice prompts then alert the operator of upcoming events (turns) and arrivals at the destination. The Navigation Control Module will automatically recalculate if the route is not followed. The Navigation Control Module uses data received from the global positioning system (GPS) satellites as well as sensors in GPS antenna to accurately display the current position of the vehicle.
