Installation Procedure

  1. Battery Positive Cable (2)» Install

  2. Battery Positive Cable Nut (1)» Install and tighten 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
    CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution
  3. Power Distributor Fuse Block Cover (1)» Install

  4. Retainer (1)» Engage [9x]

  5. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
  6. Retainer (2)» Engage [5x]

  7. Secure the clips. (2) [3x]
  8. Secure the clips. (1) [4x]

  9. Install the auxiliary A/C evaporator tube bracket fastener. (3) Tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)
  10. Retainer (2)» Engage [3x]
  11. Retainer (1)» Engage [6x]

  12. Feed the battery positive cable through rear compartment opening.
  13. Fuel Tank (1)» Install - Fuel Tank Replacement

  15. Lower the vehicle.
  16. Rubber Grommet (3)» Install

  17. Retainer (1)» Engage [4x]
  18. Retainer Clip (2)» Engage
  19. Battery Positive Cable (2)» Install

  20. Battery Positive Cable Nut (1)» Install and tighten 15 N.m (11 lb ft)
  21. Retainer (3)» Engage
  22. Battery Distribution Fuse Block Cover (3)» Install

  23. Battery Distribution Fuse Block Cover Retainer (1)» Engage [2x]
  24. Battery Distribution Fuse Block Cover Fastener (2)» Install and tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)
  25. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
  26. Rear Compartment Floor Stowage Compartment Tray (2)» Remove - Rear Compartment Floor Stowage Compartment Tray Replacement (With HP9)
