Human Machine Interface Module

The Human Machine Interface module is responsible for the following: Video for the Infotainment Display, Bluetooth ®, USB, and speech recognition functions.

The HMI communicates with the Info display and Navigation Control modules via the LIN bus for control information, touch communications and dimming level. Digital video data is sent to the Info display through a dedicated video cable. The Human Machine Interface also receives USB data as well as a MIC input from Navigation Control Module when applicable.
