Circuit/System Description

The stop/start capacitor control module is designed to provide voltage support during engine restarts by switching in the stop/start capacitor. The module controls switching of the stop/start capacitor through internal power switches. The module monitors the difference between the received run/crank voltage with the measured voltage of the LIN supply, battery supply voltage, and external safe supply voltage. The module communicates to the ECM.
