Preliminary Procedure Remove the liftgate trim panel. Refer to Liftgate Trim Finish Panel Replacement .
1	Liftgate Latch Screw (Qty: 2) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
2	Liftgate Latch Assembly Procedure Disconnect the electrical connector.
