Installation Procedure

    UHF Low Energy Remote Control Access Sensor Transceiver (1) - Install

  2. Secure the retaining tab.
  3. Connect the electrical connector.

  5. Headlining Trim Panel (1) - Install

    NOTE:

    Left side shown, right side similar.

    Connect the electrical connectors.

  7. Ensure the seat belt webbing does not become trapped during installation.
  8. Quarter Window Trim Finish Panel - Left Side and Right Side (3) - Install [2x]
    9. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  9. Quarter Window Trim Finish Panel Bolt - Left Side and Right Side (2) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications
  10. Quarter Window Trim Finish Panel Bolt Cap - Left Side and Right Side (1) - Install [4x]

    Luggage Shade (1) - Install

  12. Fold the rear seat to the full upward position.

    Roof Rail Rear Assist Handle - Left Side and Right Side (1) - Install [2x]

    Roof Rail Rear Assist Handle Bolt (2) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications

  15. Close the assist handle covers (1).

    Center Pillar Upper Trim Panel - Left Side and Right Side (3) - Install [2x]

  17. Center Pillar Upper Garnish Molding Bolt - Left Side and Right Side (2) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
  18. Center Pillar Upper Trim Panel Bolt Cap - Left Side and Right Side (1) - Install [2x]

    NOTE:

    Connect the electrical connectors.

  20. Install the retainer (4) that attaches the sunshade (3) to the headlining trim panel.
  21. Sunshade - Left Side and Right Side (3) - Install [2x]
  22. Sunshade Bolt - Left Side and Right Side (2) - Install and tighten [4x] - Fastener Specifications
  23. Sunshade Retainer Bolt Cover - Left Side and Right Side (1) - Install [2x]

    Windshield Garnish Molding - Right Side (1) - Install

    Windshield Pillar Assist Handle (1) - Install

    Windshield Pillar Assist Handle Bolt (2) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications

  27. Windshield Pillar Assist Handle Cover (1) - Install [2x]

    Windshield Garnish Molding Bolt - Left Side (3) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications

  29. Align the retaining clips (2) with the slots in the A pillar and press the windshield garnish molding (1) into place.

    Windshield Garnish Molding - Left Side (1) - Install

    Sunshade Support - Left Side and Right Side (2) - Install [2x]

  32. Sunshade Support Bolt - Left Side and Right Side (1) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
