Engine Speed Sensor: Testing and Inspection

Disconnect speed sensor wiring connector and connect "B," "BR" and "BY" color coded wiring terminals to each other with jumper wires. With engine running at about 1500- 1700 RPM, check for continuity between "LgB" color coded wiring terminals. If continuity exists, the engine speed sensor is operating properly.
