Barometric Pressure Switch: Testing and Inspection

Fig. 20 High altitude compensator (barometric pressure) switch test:

1. Disconnect compensator electrical connector and connect ohmmeter to compensator, Fig. 20.
2. Check that compensator is on at altitudes above 4,000 ft. (1220 m) or off at altitudes below.
3. Reconnect connector.
