Rear Wiper Inoperative In All Modes
- Turn ignition on. Using test light, check for battery voltage between terminal "E" (White wire) at rear wiper switch and ground. If test light comes on, proceed to next step. If test light does not come on, check for defective fuse or open in White wire between fuse block and wiper switch terminal "E".
- Place rear wiper switch in ON position. Using a test light, check for voltage between terminal "A" (Gray wire) of wiper switch and ground. If test light comes on, go to next step. If test light does not come on, check connections at wiper switch terminals "E" (White wire) and "A" (Gray wire). If connections are okay, replace wiper switch.
- Using a test light, backprobe terminal "C" (Gray wire) of wiper motor module connector to ground. If test light comes on, go to next step. If test light does not come on, check for faulty connections or open in Gray wire between wiper motor module connector terminal "C" and wiper switch terminal "A". Repair as necessary.
- Using a test light, backprobe terminal "A" (White wire) of wiper motor module connector to ground. If test light comes on, go to next step. If test light does not come on, check for faulty connections or open in White wire between wiper motor module connector terminal "A" and fuse block. Repair as necessary.
- Using a test light, backprobe between terminals "A" (White wire) and "B" (Black wire) of wiper motor module connector. If test light comes on, check for faulty connection at wiper motor module. If connection is okay, replace wiper motor module. If test light does not come on, repair open in Black (ground) wire between wiper motor module connector terminal "B" and ground.
