Code 32, EGR System Error

Code 32 represents an EGR flow test error. During a closed throttle coast-down, PCM will cycle 3 internal EGR valve solenoids on and off individually while monitoring for changes in engine RPM and oxygen (O2) sensor activity.

NOTE: Test numbers refer to numbers on diagnostic chart.

This test determine if power to EGR valve exists.
This test will determine if an open circuit exists in EGR wiring or if EGR valve is at fault.
This test will determine if a short to ground exists in any circuit going to EGR valve or if PCM is at fault.
