DTC 24, Courtesy Light Relay Coil Shorted To Battery Or CCM Internal Open: Notes

CCM completes courtesy light control circuit when a courtesy lights on request is received from door lock switches and, door and hatch ajar switches. CCM grounds courtesy light control circuit to energize relay coil.

DTC 24 will set when CCM attempts to energize courtesy light relay coil for 600 milliseconds and CCM senses high voltage in courtesy light control circuit when voltage should be low.

When DTC 24 is set, SYS will flash. DTC 24 will clear when CCM no longer requests an active courtesy light relay, or CCM senses low voltage in courtesy light control circuit when relay is energized by CCM.
